Corporate Days Out

‘Frolika’ is the ideal boat for a corporate day out on the Solent. Up to 11 guests can enjoy the day in luxury and comfort aboard our 44’ Bavaria Yacht. We are the ideal charter operator if you are looking to accommodate between 8 and 15 guests on the water. Our size means that we can concentrate on giving you and your guests personalised attention that other larger charter operators may find more difficult. 

We understand that every company’s needs are bespoke so we offer a tailored package to suit you. That may even include accommodation on board the night before ? This obviates the need for an early start and possibly heavy traffic and allows you to make the most of your forthcoming day out.

 

In our experience over the last 7 years we’ve found that most corporate clients prefer a simpler approach to the catering, avoiding expensive gourmet options and champagne and deciding instead to opt for perhaps a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, pickles and salads OR choosing instead to take their party ashore to Cowes or Buckers Hard and sampling the fayre of the local hostilieries or restaurants. This slightly simpler approach takes nothing away from the day and allows more time for interaction/sailing and general mouth watering enjoyment. Our sensible and competitive charging structure allows even modest corporations to put the boat out occasionally.

 

As a suggestion ‘a typical day’ aboard FROLIKA’ may include;

09.00 – 09.30 a.m   Climb aboard and meet the skipper   and boat. Coffee and biscuits on arrival. Fruit bowl. Bacon butties an option.

10.00- 10.30 a.m        After a comprehensive introduction to the boat and safety briefing, leave the berth and make our way out of Hythe Marina. We encourage, indeed request some participation from any willing crew members. It is not unusual for a member of the crew to be offered the helm ‘from the off’ (under close supervision of course).

10.30- 13.30        The morning is spent sailing or alternatively on simple team building exercises whilst making our way towards our lunch destination.

13.30 15.00 p.m Lunch in one of the local harbours or anchorages.

15.00 hrs             Homeward bound with the intention of  arriving back between 17.00 – 18.00 hrs

17.00- 18.00 hrs        Time permitting afternoon tea and cake whilst tied up in the marina prior to disembarking.

 

Guests leave with a bag of sea stories, a sack of laughs and happy having spent time with a jolly crew at sea.

Other options may be to add a hi speed rib for a few hours to allow your guests to mix sedate sailing with hi speed power.

Costs

As a rate indication please allow approx £700.00 + VAT high season (Monday - Thursday) for the boat and skipper which includes fuel, gas, unlimited tea, coffee, soft drinks and bottled water Fruit bowl and afternoon tea, waterproofs and ‘elevensies’!

Lunch- Pub /restaurant lunch your budget!

Lunch on board budget typically £15 - £20.00 + VAT per head.

Includes selection of beers, red and white wines soft drinks, selection of meets, pork pies, cheeses bread rolls, pickles, salad selection coleslaw,Olives, etc

Not included are extra berthing fees typically £20.00-£40.00 for a lunch stop. (Charged at cost.)
