The above rates do not apply to special events such as ‘Cowes week’ and ‘round the Island Race’.
Outboard motor/Gas/Fuel/Waterproofs
An outboard motor is available for hire at a rate of £25.00 per weekend or midweek charter and £40.00 per full week.
A charge of £15.00 will be made for gas on all short charters (other than day charters) and £25.00 for full week charters.
FROLIKA is chartered with a full tank of diesel. ideally it should be returned full, however the difficulties of refuelling on a Sunday evening are understood so for your convenience we simply make a charge of £4.00 + VAT per engine hour used.
Waterproofs can be provided for a charge of £10.00 ea per weekend and £25.00 per week.
The above rates apply for the use of ‘FROLIKA’ strictly for the use of cruising .
Racing charters
FROLIKA is available for 'skippered' racing only , and is subject to certain conditions and only by written agreement.
An extra insurance premium would apply of £100.00. The security deposit will be increased to £2000.00 and an insurance excess of £2000.00 would apply.
Cruising charters
A security Deposit of £1000.00 will be made on all cruising charters.
When chartered via an agent on a skippered or bareboat charter any damage remains the responsibility of the agents. As such the agreed security deposit of £1000 (cruising) £2000 (racing) must be handed immediately to the owner, until such time as insurance excesses or any other costs incurred not covered by insurance are known and have been agreed with all parties.
‘FROLIKA’ must be returned ship shape and in a seaman like manner with rubbish removed. For your convenience we take responsibility to fully clean the boat after handback. A charge may be made should either of the heads be blocked)
Various cleaning materials and a vacuum cleaner on board are provided free of charge for your convenience.
